HARDCORE PVE

SERVER RULES

Im not going to have a bunch of silly ass rules.
DONT BE A DICK!
You are here, because you want to play on a PVE server.
If your stupid fuggin head wants to push the limits of PVE to as close to PVP as possible, well, im just gona run your ass out of here.
"The server let me do it" is not a defense.

Welcome to the server and I hope you enjoy the challenge.

The goal here is to make a successful wipe one where a player uses nearly every tool, visits every monument and challenges every event the game has to offer.

It isnt on the site here, but the Discord has a breakdown of the guns and ammo modifications, its valuable info and important to game progression.

Gather rate is all over the place, but on average its 50% of vanilla.

The server will wipe monthly.

Survival – you have to focus on survival first, for that, you need food water and shelter. Not an inventory of loot. We all like to be close to a recycler, here your going to need to be near a water source. Preferably both.

Main Base – There’s nothing wrong with a good ole traditional R.P. PVE style base. But it wont have a chance defending a raid, KEEP ITS TC CLEARED. Build a second PVP base and maintain auth on that one. Your game play will eventually require you to defend a raid that you will either have to win, loose or surrender. That is all explained in the Random Raids section in the Discord. But those NPCs possess loot that you must have as currency in order to progress.

Human NPCs. – There are some very human like NPCs on this server. They look like players, they will wear what the find, they will arm themselves with what they find. They will burry stashes and put stuff in boxes when their inventory gets full. They chop trees, mine ores, bust barrels BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY!, they will loot and harvest your body if they come across it. If you find your body looted, it wasn’t a player, it was an NPC, you will loose kits here.

TWIG!!! – Twig is breakable. This is to motivate you to upgrade your base as fast as possible and lock things up.
Because if there is one thing in this world that I can stand, it’s an unlocked foot locker!
Breaking twig and looting what you find is acceptable game play. Upgrade your TC foundation first!

Protections – If its within your Building Priv, its pretty much protected, but leave nothing to chance, if its outside, lock it. Boxes that you may place out in the wild to store stuff because your inventory is full, well they aren’t, and breaking them is fair gameplay.

Food – Animals are less common and have reduced yield rates. Crops grow a touch faster than vanilla, but also have a reduced yield rate.

Seeds – Eating Pumpkins, Potatoes, and Corn dones not yield seeds, you’ll have to find them elsewhere and use clones to increase your food supply.

There is a chance when eating any form of uncooked food that you may contract a parasite.

Parasites – One parasite can usually be cured with 1 bottle of rad pills (95%). If you rapidly eat a ton of mushrooms, you could have picked up more than one parasite without even noticing it. If one bottle doesn’t do it, take another.

Metabolism – RUST has always been backward in its need for food and water, we have corrected that, here you will need more water than food.

80% Health Penalty – After every spawn, there is a 30 minute window where your health is reduced to 80. This is to motivate you to stay alive, and to discourage F1 kills. If you want 100 % health, stay alive. (edited)Tuesday, December 30, 2025 4:29 PM

Horses – The only horses available are at the Stables and Ranches, you will have to craft your own saddle, then go over there and pick one out.

Vehicles – Other than the modular vehicles, your going to have to craft them yourself. You will find them in the crafting menu of your workbench.

Supply Signals – Supply drops are heavily guarded by well armed NPCs. If you pop a signal and intend to fight them from your base, they will raid your base to get to you, if you don’t kill them all rather quickly. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Locked Crates – All of the locked crates are defended, and require a Laptop to hack into them.

Recyclers require fuses, and have modified output.

Weapon Attachments can only be installed at a Workbench.

Wet Guns might jam, keep dry.

ALL of the surface water is poisoned, Rivers, Lakes, Ziggurat, ect. Any water drawn from them must be purified before drinking or used on crops.

The only sources of clean water are the Water Wells spread across the map.

You will need to craft your own “Campfire” Water Purifier, craft a bota bag, or find a water bucket/jug to fill it with.

Later you can craft a personal Water Well, once you have the resources to do so.

Oil refineries – Cobalt has destroyed them all, there aint none. You’ll have to make your own lowgrade for a while, be creative.

There is only one way to obtain lowgrade fuel in abundance, its explained here, follow along….

The Pumpjack, there is only one pumpjack – It runs on Diesel and only produces crude. You will find it in the sewers under the Airfield. Radiation is the same as the rocket factory, so be prepared for that.

Small Oil Rig – Small Oil has a 1st deck drilling rig on it that uses crude as fuel. It will pump lowgrade fuel up into a red storage tank on the top deck.

Large Oil has a below deck drilling rig on it that uses crude as fuel. This is accessible by a ladder on the catwalk. It will pump lowgrade fuel up into a blue storage tank on the top deck.

Mining Quarries – Run on lowgrade.

The Outpost:
Outpost is now occupied and its gates are sealed. You will have to access it through the sewers that run underneath it.
There are no vending machines there any longer, only pain and suffering will you find there, hm.
There is a defended locked crate that sits behind a red key card lock.
The fuse box is located on a high wall that youll have to work your way to.

Bandit Camp:
That wretched hive of scum and villainy has beed shut down, Cobalt controls it now. Its worth checking out.

Giant Excavator:
Well its a hunk of junk now, fight your way to the engine deck for a chance at a rare item that sits behind a blue key card lock.

Large Cave Sewers:
This is now a labyrinth style monument that requires a blue and red key card, it is heavily defended and contains an elite crate and a hackable crate.

Launch Site/Bradley:
Launch Site is now patrolled by a giant Drone much like the Bradley, but it doesn’t just mope around waiting for you to kill it like the Bradley did.

Airfield/Bradley:
The Bradley got transferred to the Airfield due to poor job performance at the Launch Site.

Cargo Ship:
The Cargo Ship no longer stops in at the harbors, your going to have to craft yourself a boat and ride out there old school style to get it.

Chinook:
The Chinook is out of crates to drop, it still flies around though.

Patrol Helicopter:
The Patrol Helicopter event is disabled, it just takes away too much time from grinding out the things you need for this gameplay. You can craft a signal to call it in when your ready. I hear it has jackhammers on board.

Cargo Plane:
The Cargo Plane event is disabled. The NPCs defending the airdrop will kill an unsuspecting player so fast it sparks rage quit syndrome.
Note: the airdrop is the only guaranteed place to find a laptop.

Market Terminals:
They all got wadded up and pushed out to the road for the scrappers to pick up, You will have to chat and trade between yourselves, or village build to make trade easier.
